2.Road Runner Park
Road Runner park is an Awesome park with large grass areas that are surrounded by mature trees, which provide nice shade. Roadrunner park has baseball and soccer fields, basketball and tennis courts, play ground, waking path, community pool, and small pond with ducks. Ultimately it has something for everyone and is well maintained.a lots of of room to wander around. Feed the ducks or just look at them. You can even go fishing in the pond!Fantastic playgrounds for toddlers and bigger kids. Very safe and clean. Loads of parking. Huge beautiful swimming pool in season, a great family place!
This park has so many different things to do. Plus it actually has some hills and elevation changes. People even fish in the water feature. Nice facilities with shade for picnics and plenty of fields for soccer etc.
This really is an oasis in the desert. Stocked fishing pond, stream. Hiking, biking and walking trails and picnic areas. Public bathrooms and water fountains.
This park is beautiful and has easier trails to walk and view Arizona wildlife. It has quickly become a popular place, it has a wonderful spot to view the wildlife including a lot of bird species. We love this clean and beautiful park.
5.Pima Canyon Trailhead
There is a huge network of trails for hiking and mountain biking that stem from this trail head. You can find all levels of difficulty in terms of steep hikes or technical bike routes like the Mormon loop. Or if you want a relaxing stroll and beautiful sights and awesome rock formations, there are trails for that too. People are friendly and bikers look out for hikers, so it’s good for everyone! Get out and enjoy this weather and This is definitely a Great Trail with awesome views once you get to some of its mountain tops, the trail has all kind of levels from beginners to the most skilled hikers. 6.Dobbins Lookout View Point
One of the best view point in Phoenix. Leads you directly to high elevation where you could see Mesa Scottsdale and Phoenix. Best part is you could drive all the way to summit. Phoenix sky goes crazy during sunset time. Name the color will be able to spot on sky. Soon after sunset you will have opportunity to enjoy the downtown lights. Final tip is ensure you drive in before 7pm as drive-in gate closes. Drive-out can be done anytime.
7.Musical Instrument Museum
One of the best and biggest in the whole United States ! There are musical instruments from whole around the world, North America, South America, Asia, Europe and Africa ! The biggest part is for US and Canada. The amount of media available to show you what the instruments sound like is nearly overwhelming. Each station plays multiple videos showing the instruments in use. Each person gets a personal listening device to watch these videos. All you have to do is walk up to a station and your device picks it up and starts playing it.
Great place for locals or visitors. Wide array of animals, beautiful settings in the hills of Phoenix which make for a picturesque visit.
The zoo itself is very easy to navigate, well signed and lots to do for kids and adults. The guided tour which also includes a 4D movie is a nice add on as it helps to layout the zoo and gives you a general sense of where everything is. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Phoenix or if you’ve never been and are from the area.
Beautiful venue that shows the investment Phoenix has made to their local race track. Extremely fan friendly infield that allows visitors to experience a behind the scenes look at the NASCAR teams, play games, enjoy a drink or have a bite.
From the stands, the views are great almost anywhere on this 1 mile track. The higher you are and closer to the start/finish line you can get, you’ll be covered in shade on those hot desert days.Traffic in and out of the track seem to flow quite well given the single road in and out.
