Location of Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur and How to get there
Petronas Twin Towers is very hard to miss when you visit Kuala Lumpur. You can easily see the towers wherever you go. The Twin-Towers is located in the city center, not very far from Bukit Bintang. However, it is an hour and a half by the Kuala Lumpur International Airport using the Monorail. After that, find a way out through KLCC Suria Mall. We can also go to Petronas using GO KL Bus- Green Line which is free. There are 4 different lines but there will be an intersection at some point/ bus stop. Choose the green line. For easier access through Google maps, click here.
Visiting the Sky-Bridge of Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur
Yes, taking pictures from the bottom of the Towers would be enough to show off to your friend, but why stop over there? Sky-Bridge is absolutely a must when you go to visit this twin-towers. Unfortunately, since important business activities take place in the building, visitors only allowed on the 41st floor. That is where the Sky-bridge is. There are some things to notice before you proceed. The Access to enter the bridge is only for 1000 visitors a day. The admission tickets are only available early in the morning so who comes first will get it. Most importantly, one person can only buy one ticket, so you can’t buy for your friends or spouses. The ticket is 10RM for tourists and 3RM for locals.
The view from the bridge is absolutely stunning. You can typically see the city landscape from the heights. I suggest you visit the bridge only if it is sunny and clear because once it is raining or cloudy, you won’t be able to see anything.
If you scared of heights or not wanting to go all the way up to the sky bridge, there is an alternative you can do while visiting the Petronas Twin Towers. KLCC Park is a nice place to stroll around with your kids or spouse in the afternoon. There are a lot of families with their kids playing on the playground available. There is also a beautiful water fountain where you can feel the water splashed in front of you. The park is clean and nice to enjoy. So many people come here for the sunset as well. The park is vibrant and definitely worth to visit once you are tired from touring around the towers.
